Synopsis The French philosopher Francis Wolff, a great bullfighting enthusiast, is troubled by the growing bans on bullfights. At the filmmakers' invitation, he embarks on a journey through France, Spain, and Mexico in search of answers. Is it possible to defend bullfighting philosophically while also presenting a coherent ethical framework of humankind's moral duties toward animals? Throughout the journey, various encounters arise that invite us to reflect on the relationship between human beings and animals and nature, on the meaning of life, and on our relationship with death.
